Job opportunities for PhD holders in New Zealand

How good are the job opportunities for Ph.D. Graduates?

Ans.  I think they would be the same as any other graduates, to be honest, it will depend on your attitude your skills and your knowledge. Just by virtue of the fact that you are doing a PhD does not mean that an employer will go out of his way and say oh wow you are a PhD student so I'm going to give you a job I think what matters is that you are able to sit in front of a prospective  employer across the table and you know to be able to talk confidently and be able to convince them why you are not why you are the person they should pick for this particular role. So I think as a PhD student your chances of getting a job are as good or you know like any of the students the advantage here of course is that you'll have full time working rights which means you the employer will look at you a bit more positively because then they know that there is no restriction of only 20 hours so I do believe that your chances would be better so all the very best and if you were an AJV student, of course, we would have given you full support of here as well but all the very best and I wish you or you know to do well in New Zealand.
