My
wife has done masters in electronics and further PhD can you please verify
what is the current situation is okay can spouse and dependent child come with
her?
Ans : If
your wife takes up master's in electronics the spouse can accompany or on a
work visa and if you have a school-going age child then the child would also
get the status of a domestic student here in New Zealand so yeah absolutely I
think masters would be a fantastic choice and electronics is also a very good
subject choice because again electronics is in our skill shortage area and we
have a shortage of people who have competencies and skills and knowledge and
the electronics fee so yeah we would love to work with you and we work with a lot
of other students and clients who come with a similar background and we'll be
delighted to put forward some good opportunity options for you across New
Zealand in different universities but absolutely and if she does intend to do a
PhD later I would say take it one step at a time I'd say first get your let her
get her master's in electronics done first and once she does that you would be
eligible for a three years post study work Visa she will get it and by virtue
of her getting it you would also get an extension of your work with her as well
and in that three years I would strongly recommend that you go on to try and
pick up a job that is relevant to the course is completed and if you also have
your own background you could potentially also pick up of job related to your
background your qualifications and so either or might be able to become an
applicant for residency and I really try and crack the presidency in those
three years but if you still can't then I would suggest how you look get on to
the PhD because that's okay not good progression from masters to PhD and I'm
sure after that PhD sure would absolutely crack job so I'm we're about the
others so all the Best.
