Is medical and education for children free in New Zealand?

I have applied and got an offer from the University of Waikato for Master of Business and management course for my wife through AJV is medical and education for children free in New Zealand?

If your wife is coming for masters in business and management you would then come on your spouse work visa as long as one of the parents is on the work visa the kids will be eligible for free education in New Zealand and so medical depends on the duration of your work visa also in the first year when you are still only on a one-year work with more than likely the medical will not apply for the medical benefits but education for sure no problem about that you should be able to get your kids into or school in New Zealand and you'll be charged for the domestic fees and if you're going to a state school it really knows so it's not it's practically free of cost but medical I think in the first year you will need to come with medical insurance to cover it but after your wife completes of course and she gets her three year for post study work visa and then by virtue of the fact that you're independent you also get your three years to post study work visa because your wife now has got three years to post regularly also and that's when you guys would also be eligible to get all the medical benefits as well so that's the way it works.
