Success rate of study visa for culinary arts courses

Interested to study culinary arts any chance to get a visa?

Ans. Yeah, no problem if it is a person with a Bachelor of Commerce background who wants to do a course in culinary I do not see any problem with that because they look a lot of people want to change their interest. Absolutely no problem but of course we need to assess to see that term if a person has got an interest in cooking he would have done something to show that he's got that interest in it so as assessing officers we will ask him a few questions and probably ask for some proof of his interest in that particular area and yeah we've helped hundreds of students who had no connection between what they studied and the course they're coming for as long we were able to establish a genuine connection and a genuine interest and convince a visa officer why a visa should be given and we are very good at it I mean I don't want to sound boastful but we are very good in our visa processes we got an 89% visa approval rate last year from Immigration Department I personally was not very happy that we did not cross the 90 percent but well I think we missed a 20% by a small margin of one application perhaps so I have told the team this year that we need to hit 95% more so we are gunning for it and of course our numbers are also going up and as numbers go up and trying to maintain the quality of the applications and the success rate is going to be a challenge but we are very committed to it we want to be right on top of the pile but yes we come to culinary no problem if we are able to see the full story and understand why that person was so good they will definitely help.
