Can a Level 7 degree holder further pursue a level 8 or 9 course?

If a student completed a level 7 course but still hasn’t enough points for residency can he take up another level 8 or 9 courses?

Ans: Yeah, absolutely if you come into the country and you have taken a course and you not able to find a job based on that and you want to invest further and going for another course, yeah absolutely no problem in that and if you are already in New Zealand and you want to look at more options because sometimes your first course choice may not have been the right one for you. In fact there's a very interesting case of one of the young students I'm right now working with her to apply for her post-study work visa I think her course choice was very wrong the guy who ever suggested that course to her you know she has got a background in tourism and hospitality and some guy put her into production and operations management kind of course and but based on his French he did find the job in tourism and hospitality but now the visa officer is saying the course she did in New Zealand is not relevant so we're kind of trying to figure out a short but good course. So if your first course choice was wrong and if you know want to kind of redirect yourself and get into the right path I think you need to talk those will help you, but yeah, the basic answer is yes you can go and choose the next level of course and that will also give you another post so as long as you're going up right.
