How long does it take to get a student visa?
Ans: I think the average processing time is 3 weeks at the moment as soon as you're loan is in and you're able to put it in I think in about 3 weeks you should be able to get it but they are moving very fast and I think there's also been a good consolidation happening with Immigration Department so I think they're getting faster and I think they are increasing the number of visa officers with other you know I think for us we are getting it in an average of 3 weeks because we send something called decision ready files so when we send a file I don't have any documents right now but that file is so complete that a visa officer can pretty much flick through that and say yeah everything is there that yeah everything is there and we also have a very good track record with our immigration you know we have an 89% success rate with our student visas we are absolutely gunning to get it up to about 95% this year none of our student visas have been declined for reasons like fraudulent documents if they were declined it was because students sometimes don't answer the interview calls very well or sometimes the visa officer is not able to verify a particular document that's all so we have a good track record we have a very good image with immigration New Zealand. Hopefully, can't say it as a statement but you know hopefully they realize that we are very committed to the applications we send them and so average time is about three weeks you'll do well because you've chosen one of the best companies so thanks for that.
