Can freshers enroll for Highway Engineering course in New Zealand?

Read this FAQ to understand -

Is it very important to have work experience in the construction industry before joining highway engineering at NZ IHT? Do the employers only recruit such profiles after completion of the course?

Ans. The advantage of having work experience is always there but it doesn't mean that if you do not have work experience that you cannot seek to god and you know try and create an opportunity for yourself so especially in my take on work experience I think it's a bit more useful if you are coming to do a course in New Zealand in areas like business management for instance serve or you know an applied management and that sort of stuff because in a business and stuff like that is not as very clearly defined as engineering and 3d animation and more technical subjects so the fact that you do not have experience can be offset by the other fact that you are choosing a very highly technical course and you are also choosing a course that is in engineering which is in the long term skill shortage list of New Zealand which means that there are vacancies available for people and because of that of course now they are looking at trying to attract people into this particular industry so the because you're getting into an engineering I think it's alright if you are able to make it to New Zealand even if you do not have experience if you don't decide to hang on for two or three years and gain some experience income that's fine as well but in two to three years time we don't know what kind of rules might change or may not change or how the global political situation might change and if the migration to New Zealand our education to New Zealand trend will still continue so a lot of things can change so either you can take up the decision and move in right now and make it go for it because quite a lot of young engineering students cause a lot of law students coming for technical courses are able to take care of themselves and our movement and I think the other advantage is that we are also present here and we will also connect you to other students who have been in the same field before and NZ IHT is a good institution that stands for the New Zealand state of fibre technology and obviously because the country is growing quite dramatically there's a lot of requirement for you know highways and infrastructure as one so because of that there could be a reasonable chance so we are present you know we'll help you connect you to some of our other students help you with your CV cover letter and those kinds of things so it's worthwhile taking a chance but please bear in mind that job finally getting that job will depend on your communication skills I think when you are another interview situation more than anything else the employer is looking to see how well you communicate and how well you can convince that person that you have the attitude skills and knowledge to be able to fulfil that job so go for it with confidence if you have these attributes especially communication skills are good.
