Is the PR points-based resident visa
rule change can we not apply anymore from outside of New Zealand?
Ans. I think it's very clear that the resident
visa category went to our very interesting revamped last year so it's become
practically impossible for many people who apply to get a direct resident visa
unless and until they have skilled employment in New Zealand or an offer of
skilled employment in New Zealand or they have studied in New Zealand and them
hire for two years and they have a masters or a Ph.D. acquired locally if you do
not have that and even if you get the required 160 points the government is not
giving a direct resident we so what they're doing is they're giving something
called the still migrant's category job search visa which was allowed only the
main applicant, not the family only the main applicant will be allowed to come
into the country and while you're here on a legitimate job search visa you can
go around looking for work and if you're able to find a job then you take off
that rule which says okay you have skilled employment in New Zealand so they're
a bit more difficult and I think the reason they have made it a bit more
tougher is because obviously, we are growing in popularity as a destination more
and more people want to come to New Zealand so when the demand is so high for
people to come to New Zealand so the government can tweak its policies and
ensure we're attracting the right people and also kind of keep raising the bar
a little bit and which is where a company like AJV can be very useful in giving
