Ans : Definitely continue with your civil engineering course with your civil engineering subjects so we would strongly recommend a post graduate diploma or a master's in civil engineering of course because again we have a pretty big requirement of civil engineers at the moment and in fact the requirement for our civil engineers and our infrastructure related engineers is so high that government has actually come out with another whole new skill shortage list called the infrastructure and construction skills shortage lists which in itself is testimony of the fact that we actually have a pretty big requirement for these people which is sustaining and you know consistently we are being required to import people to come and join the sector because we are growing as a country as an economy here in New Zealand but unfortunately we have some skill shortages because of which you know civil engineers are definitely in the desired list as well so please go ahead and speak to your AJV adviser I hope you're working with AJV we would love to work with you.
